Cultural Activities
We celebrate all nationally important days like Independence Day, Republic Day, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day etc. Other cultural activities include recitation, dance, songs, debate, Mehandi, Rakhi and drawing competitions etc. Which are held here throughout the academic session.
Twice in year we arrange Art and Craft workshop which is undertaken by expert teachers in this senior school also organise “Best out of waste” event. Students show their creativity with force dedication. School offers activity oriented education and has enough co-scholastic activities to provide happy environment full of fun and amazing experiences.
Sports
Sports activities are the center of attraction in our school. Playgrounds of Kho-Kho, Badminton, Netball, Football, Volleyball, Kabaddi and Cricket are available for all. Our school Boys & Girls participate in many games at district, state and national level and win medals.
Sports are a very significant part of an exemplary education system. We believe in expressing equal attention to sports as compared to the academics. At Our School, we provide the opportunity to both play and learn various sports like Badminton, Basketball, Football, Cricket, Skating, Karate, Table Tennis, Hockey etc. We constantly work on introducing new sports in our school as according to us, sports are extremely important for holistic development of ones personality as it strengthens a person both physically and mentally, in addition to teaching them to be focussed and disciplined.
Co-Curricular Activities
The Fairmont School promises to provide a valuable foundation in the building up of not only academic excellence but also character an overall growth of the students.Co-curricular activities form an integral part of the school curriculum and a good number of students participate in some activity or the other so as to top their innate potential.
The Fairmont School is divided into houses. Regular inter house competitions are held in dance, music, recitation, calligraphy, drawing, painting, debates and declamation etc.The idea is to inculcate a sense of healthy competition. Inter house competitions are held ensuring mass participation.
Art & Craft
Art & Craft, the beauty of being creative, bring your thoughts and ideas into visual form. When we are in school, parents are often seen stopping children who are inclined to do art & Craft. While many schools do not have many activities in art & Craft, they cut down on these classes to emphasize other subjects.
Schools need to understand the importance of out-of-the-box learning. Whether it’s origami, painting, sculptures, miniatures of clay, or coloring, art & Craft can be a great way to accelerate growth, creativity, and the learning process among children. Including Arts & crafts in the curriculum can ensure that students are learning effectively.
